The HSG Talents Company Profiles book is based off of the official recruiting event of the University of St.Gallen. An organizing team comprised of six students planned and implemented profiles of potential employer companies. GARAMOND BOOK

Based on Alexander Lawson's writings in

Anatomy of a Typeface, this book was bound based on the history of book design and
the Garamond typeface. The justified book was

produced using a coptic bind and features
a double fold out displaying type characteristics.

This edtorial takes the same copy from Alexander Lawson's Anatomy of a Typeface

to produce a editorial based on Garamond.

Limited to only three spreads, the editorial shows imagery relating to art in Claude Garamond's time while also pointing out the many variations of Garamond typefaces.

EIGHTH EXODUS: STAR

This book structure is part of a senior narrative project where the goal was to design as many projects based on a story we have written that has impacted our life in some way. Eighth Exodus tells the story about a friend's passing and how it impacted an entire hometown. Special thanks to Gina Pierce.

EIGHTH EXODUS: POSTERS

Combining the senior narrative project with

letterpress printing techniques, a poster

series was created based on the story Eighth

Exodus. The posters are each four layers

and were created with metal type, polymer

plates, and material based pressure prints

for the backgrounds. Special thanks to Mary

Phelan of the printmaking department.

For Wendell Potter's presentation on the Affordable Care Act and health care reform,

two designers collaborated to create take

away brochures that visualized information

about the rising costs of insurance, medicare, and medicaid in the United States.

BRING HEALTH REFORM HOME

This book is a hybrid of a do-si-do and

flipbook structure with a protective box.

The content of the flip book contains

names of close family and friends while

the illustrations are meant to be the

foods that represent their personalities.

FOOD AND FRIENDS

Focusing on tea and coffee preparation materials, this project allowed for developing

three alternate catalog spreads based
off of objects photographed by the designer.

Sip Network is an interactive television network dedicated to craft beverages such as coffee, tea, liquor, beer, and wine. Through out the day, programming on the channel changes based on what type of drink you may be sipping (for instance, mornings there may be programming on coffee and tea while alcoholic beverages start at happy hour). Wordmark and system design were integrated to create a consistent brand in print, video, and web formats.
